Chili con carne
Ingredients
- 900 gr Ground beef
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 piece Onion (medium, chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 piece Green bell pepper (medium, chopped)
- 2 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.125 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 3 granules Beef bouillon
- 0.25 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 800 gr Canned tomatoes
- 237 ml Water
- 450 gr Kidney beans
Steps
- Add the olive oil to a pot.
- Add the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper to the pot and cook until soft.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the chili powder, salt, beef bouillon granules, cayenne pepper, oregano, ground cumin, and cinnamon powder.
- Add the canned tomatoes, water, and kidney beans.
- Cook for about 1 hour on low to medium heat.
