Scottish shortbread
Ingredients ( pieces)
- 312 gr Flour
- 226 gr Butter (unsalted)
- 120 gr Sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
Steps
- Mix sugar, flour, salt butter until its a smooth dough.
- Put the mixture in a greased baking pan (approx 20x20cm).
- Prick holes in the dough, creating rows.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes at 180ÂȘC
- Cut the shortbread pieces right after you take it out of the oven. Let it cool.
